Choose one document job
Renaming, preparing, routing and archiving are different tasks. Pick the stage that causes repeated effort and define what a correct output looks like. Keep an original while trying the first version. A preview list or draft document can be useful before any automatic changes or delivery are enabled.
Review the actual output
A generated file can exist and still contain the wrong edition, missing text or a broken layout. The guide uses a volunteer welcome-pack example to explain document identity and review. Check representative files, including long names and missing fields, before treating an entire batch as ready.
Keep a route back to the source
Record which input and template produced an output. If the source changes after approval, the earlier draft needs another check. Someone covering the job should be able to identify the current version, pause the workflow and prepare a document manually without reconstructing the process from memory.
